Hello people,

My name is Jade and I am 31 yrs old. Married with 3 girls (outnumbered ) and currently studying to be a pastor in the Lutheran Church of Australia.

I've always had an interest in martial arts and joined the Japanese Karate Association in Bundaberg, Qld, when I was around 8 I think. That never eventuated to anything but my interest in martial arts and fighting in general has never dissappeared.

I joined Millennia Fighting Academy around 4 weeks ago and haven't looked back. I am really enjoying the MMA classes that Ash has on offer and the wealth of experience that he has. Can't wait to start jiu jitsu in the near future. That will do for now .

How are you finding the MMA at Ash's compared tot he Karate you would have done when you were younger?
What style of karate did you do??

@mitsi, I was only 8, but I believe it was mainly shotokan. The MMA at Ash's is fantastic. He's realistic, technical, always making sure we have the fundamentals in place, utilizes various styles along with the proven techniques of each and well...I really could go on but if you look at his posts on here and his reply's, you can get a feel for how he trains the students. What he says he actually does, which is very important I reckon.
