Hey Sijo, your school sounds real interesting - if only I were in Victoria, I'd come down and have a look. I've always been interested in having a look at the animal styles of Kung Fu but have never seen them close up. Also, great work on actively promoting cross training - if only all MA instructors were as open minded. Keep up the top effort!

I second what Millenia said, i've always had an interest and if only i was in Victoria.
Have a friend in VIC, might have to pay him a visit and make time to drop by!
What a great policy!!

Hi SIjo,

My friend and I where inquiring about going overseas to China to live and study in a Shaolin Martial Arts Academy. The three we have currently looked at and are interested in are in these links:

http://shaolins.com/

http://www.chinashaolinkungfu.com/home.html

http://www.chinashaolins.com/index.htm#tuition

Could you possibly give us assistance is contacting these academies, if possible of course, or just some general information/advice about the academies? We have already sent emails but have not heard back for a number of days.

Would be most appreciated!

Hi,

Your question is simple to answe; have a look at;
http://www.shaolin-wushu.de/en/main_fr.htm?schulen.htm

Then i think your 2nd choice is the one which actually is in Shaolin http://www.chinashaolinkungfu.com/home.html

The other two look very professional but are not the actual Shaolin proper.

I suggest your first get in Contact with China Travel Agency to get a real 2nd opinion and then contact Shaolin direct.

Also, send an e-mail when China is not celebrating Chinese New Year (as it is now) and you will propably get a quick response.
