lost track of the number of time seen pirate hobble off the mat looking sick after rebreaking his big toe doing judo
of course their is the inevitable hicky like bruses on the arms from doing throwing techs some times quite hard to explain away or mat burnt feet thats allways fun to explain

Yea pirate but you tell all your students about it , and were all very well awere that were going to be in pain too if we stomp on it doing def techs . And you can be one mean looking guy when you put your mind to it, and that old age and trechery beats youth and exuberance line dont help much ever !

i got a nice non MA one now....

was kinda running to the shower coz i realised i was late, and one of my toes on my right foot got caught in the pants on left leg so i ended up sweeping both feet from under myself and landed square on both my knees, one swelled up immediately, and now it is all clicky and grindy. i could barely walk for a day or so, and now they are both heavily bruised and purple.... x-rays have been done and now its time for an ultrasound on it.... oh dear.

Mine's kinda MA based!
I was coming home from training and was driving my 4x4 instead of my sedan. When i got home, i got out of the 4x4 and I kinda forgot that it was a LOT higher than the sedan. So as a consequence I landed about 10 minutes after i thought i would, on uneven ground too, and serverley strained my achillies tendon! Has put my training out of whack for a while!
Not to mention all my Sensei's laughed themselves silly when I told them!

One of my sparring partners tonight managed to cut his eyelid with his own thumb nail. Ouch! Think I may have helped. Oops.
