- Try to be early for class, if you are late for class, bow at the door and wait for further instructions.
- Make sure your uniform is clean and pressed.
- Make sure that hands and feet are clean and nails kept short.
- Do not wear jewellery of any kind in class. If you have jewellery that cannot be removed, let us know.
- Do not talk unnecessarily as this disrupts others.
- Treat all other students with respect regardless of age, sex or grade.
- Endeavour to do your best in class. (This is the only way to advance)
- Make sure that you inform your instructor of an injury or illness before class starts.
- Observe the correct "Reishiki" (ettiquette) in class
- Do not use bad language or act disgracefully in the dojo.
- Only use your skills to protect yourself, family or friends in the event of extreme, immediate, unprovoked danger.
- Never do or say anything that will harm the goodwill of martial arts.
- No smoking is allowed in or near the dojo or any related functions.
- Try hard and enjoy yourself!
